The building housing Mars Bar is being torn down to make way for an apartment building that will include market rate condos and affordable housing. The permits have been filed and the bar could be closed as early as the end of May. DNA info has more….
“The redevelopment project, which includes the construction of a new 12-story building, requires Mars Bar to close for at least two years, with the option of reopening in a space as much as four times its current size at the same location, the builders’ representatives said.”
