Stellina Dessert Cafe Open On Allen Street

Stellina is now open at 95 Allen Street, serving ice cream, cookies, cakes and more.  Stellina, and the successful Sorella restaurant next door,  is owned by Emma Hearst, the great-great granddaughter of William Randolph Hearst. Read the Stellina review from the NY Times…

“The ice cream here follows three schools of thought. There are pure flavors like fior di latte, so delicate and pretty, or dark chocolate sorbetto, as dense as a reduction. There are composed flavors like coconut stracciatella (coconut gelato with chocolate flakes) or Giandujotto (named for a candy from Turin), hazelnut gelato with fudge.”

“All Good Things is also re-introducing “hundreds of different types of candy” to its offerings, Levy said. “We want All Good Things to be just that – all about the good things in life. I want to create a family-friendly Mom and Pop place in the center of town where kids are king. No purchase is too small and no customer is too young. Customer service is our priority again. The store was really flailing, but I want customers to know that it’s back.”
