Edward Hopper’s DRUG STORE….

There’s been lots of speculation and debate over which sites in Greenwich Village served as the source of inspiration for some of Hopper’s best known works.  Here’s a great story from Off The Grid on the possible  source of Hopper’s Drug Store…

“Those who were present at our recent lecture on the artist’s work know the extent of the research we have put into locating the subjects of Nighthawks at the Diner and Early Sunday Morning, two of Hopper’s most iconic Village paintings.”
